RINOSHAN SUSIMAN

Rinoshan Susiman is an interdisciplinary artist from Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. His artistic practice bridges digital and traditional mediums, delving into the interplay between selfhood and sociopolitical landscapes. Rinoshan Susiman is an artist working with both digital and traditional mediums. Holding a BFA from the Ramanathan Fine Arts Academy, University of Jaffna, and an MFA from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, his practice explores overlooked social issues and identity through a research-driven approach.

Evolving from an early focus on unconscious physical actions, Rinoshan examines personal and community narratives, challenging artistic norms to spark meaningful conversations.

Rinoshan has participated in notable exhibitions such as Texting Being Performance at Theertha Performing Platform, Jaffna (2018), the 15th Visual Art Exhibition (2018), Serendipity Arts Festival (2019), Metamorphosis at IAC Art Gallery, Lahore (2022),  Envision E-Vision Chronicles Tomorrow, curated by Rashid Rana and Sayed, at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (2024), and Beyond the Gaze supported by Photo South Asia, A project of the Murthy Nayak Foundation, held at the Alliance Francaise de Dhaka, Bangladesh (2024).
