Ahmed Javed, born in 1992 in Lahore, Pakistan, is a contemporary artist specialising in Indo-Persian miniature painting. Ahmed Javed is a painter specialising in Indo-Persian miniature art. His practice preserves traditional miniature techniques while exploring their relevance in a contemporary context. Drawing inspiration from Mughal miniatures, he uses stylisation and shifting perspectives to emphasise figures and objects.

Recently, his work has focused on portraying contemporary artists in their studios, offering an intimate glimpse into creative processes and the relationship between individuals and their environments. Javed's accolades include the Nigaah Art Award (2023) and Sovereign Asian Art Award (2019). His notable exhibitions include Affordable Luxury (2024) at Sanat Gallery, Karachi, and Panorama (2023), a solo show at the same venue.
